All items in this category have some problems. They may be repairable, but for us they are not cost effective to repair due to a combination of projected repair time involved, availability of parts or lack of service information.  These items appear complete unless otherwise noted and will not be disassembled for specific parts.  Obvious item faults are described but other undetected faults may exist.  These items are sold "as is" and no further troubleshooting will be done.

For now, the "Bone yard" and "Tube" categories are exceptions to our "list all prices" policy.  Please contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.

Dynamic Instruments Inc. DI-803 Transducer Test Set
Stopped working after an extended storage period.  Suspect operating system lost due to op. system rom battery failure.  All functions were working before storage.  Comes up with "ram passed" status, then no panel response.

Fluke 12 multimeter
No display, kills batteries - suspect proprietary LSI chip u/s.

Cracked, non- functional display.  Missing handle and one rear foot.  No further tests performed since we can't see what's going on.

Icom IC-02AT VHF handheld transceiver
Receiver ok, transmit quits after 3 seconds at either hi or lo power.  Traced to driver board - heating (not cooling) fixes problem.

IFR 1000-S service monitor with spectrum analyzer option
Spectrum analyzer, signal generator, receiver, modulator, power meter, modulation meter.  All functions ok except flakey power on switch, gen. output exactly 20 dbm below dial reading (bfo ok).  Batteries probably need replacement, but has provision for external dc supply as well as ac.  With front cover.

Max. voltage output, no V adjustment.  Adjusting current pot to zero takes output to 0V.
